    Hello chen21 and welcome to the forums :)

    To install Microsoft/Windows updates, you need to deactivate the Virtual Mode. Once the updates are applied, simply turn the Virtual Mode back on and you should be updated and good to go.

    Strange - are you still using the older RVS 2010? If so, updating to the current RVS Pro 2011 or RSS Pro/free 2011 should fix any issues as you describe.

    some computers in my internet cafe using 2010 and some 2011 (updated from 2010), but still all of my computers can not install windows update. so I want to reinstall my windows and directly using 2011, maybe install windows update problem does not happen again after that.

    Please do the following so we can take a look in the lab:

    1. Select one or two of the systems where you are unable to perform an MS Update and extract the following logs:

    RVS 2010:

    * "C:\Windows\rvs3.log"
    * "C:\Windows\rvs3-inst.log"

    RSS 2011:

    The rvs3.log and rvs3.inst.log files in the following folder:

    Win XP/Server 2003:
    "C:\Documents and Settings\all users\application data\returnil\rvs3\log"

    Win Vista/7/Server 2008:
    "C:\ProgramData\Returnil\RVS3\log"

    All versions:

    MSINFO32 report: Click START > RUN > Type MSINFO32. On the System Information screen click FILE > Export and then save the file where you can find it.

    2. Put all logs in a ZIP or RAR archive and send them to support (dash) tech (at) returnil (dot) com

    Has there been any resolution to this thread?

    I have the same issue. I've turned off Virtualisation and tried to update Windows7 with no success.
