"Chinese drones scolds people for not wearing face masks...

The English-language edition of the Global Times,...released footage on Twitter on Friday of relentless drones calling out instructions as they hover above people disobeying health protocols amid the outbreak.

'“Yes, auntie, this is the drone speaking to you,' a voice booms over an elderly Chinese woman, according to the Global Times’s English translation. 'You shouldn't walk about without wearing a mask...'Yes you'd better go back home and don't forget to wash your hands,' it calls out to her again as she starts to walk away....'Now a drone is watching you.'..."

Face masks are mandatory in at least two provinces in China, including the city of Wuhan. In an effort to contain the coronavirus strain...

As millions don masks across the country, the Chinese are discovering an unexpected consequence to covering their faces. It turns out that face masks trip up facial recognition-based functions, a technology necessary for many routine transactions in China. Suddenly, certain mobile phones, condominium doors, and bank accounts won’t unlock with a glance..."

"China launches coronavirus 'close contact detector' app

China has launched an app that allows people to check whether they have been at risk of catching the coronavirus...

The 'close contact detector' tells users if they have been near a person who has been confirmed or suspected of having the virus...

    Yea...
But I have a feeling that chairman Xi (his title correctly translated is chairman, not "president" like western media falsely prints and which chinese authorities never bothered to correct....) is even worse than the Big B in George Orwell book.

I mean...must be a pretty insecure human being if one starts censoring Winnie the Pooh images just because there is vague likeness with CCP leader :D
