DWORD or String ? I'm planning to use sbie's %LOCALAPPDATA% folder, is it correct?: Code: \??\C:\Users\MrX\AppData\Local\Sandboxie-Plus\Sandboxie.ini
Alright, I found that it actually could be either a REG_EXPAND_SZ or REG_SZ value and name it as Code: IniPath and set data as Code: \??\C:\Users\MrX\AppData\Local\Sandboxie-Plus\Sandboxie.ini
@DavidXanatos Clicking on "Edit Sandboxie.ini" button in SandMan gui opens my default notepad editor as admin. Now that I use %LOCALAPPDATA%\Sandboxie-Plus\ as location for Sandboxie.ini alongside with Sandboxie-Plus.ini, is it possible to add an option for launching it as non admin?
I I think we should check the file permissions and only ask for admin when needed, when not needed show a warming message box offering to adjust the permissions such that no mater where the file is it will be needed, but with the option to say not and check never to ask again. If you make an issue for this I wont forget it.
Sbie 1.9.6 on my setup Notepad++ runs as non-admin for Sandboxie-ini and Sandboxie-Plus.ini Notepad++ runs as admin for Templates.ini
