Infected with Win32/Olmarik

Hi,

my pc was working very fine and running eset smart security and always updated version and firewall running too.. but still infected with with Win32/Olmarik and cant remove it now getting message

Object: Operating memory
Threat: Win32/Olmarik Trojan
information: Unable to clean

what i can do??

smart security cant remove trojans??

Since Olmarik usually comes with a rootkit, I'd suggest creating a rescue cd, booting the system from it and running a full system scan.

 

well its embarrassing to tell that av cant cure it and a free software cure it in a click..

i removed olmarik with this if anyone will experiance same problem may be this will help for them...

PS: i will change my av today need find better then this...

 

You are referring to a standalone removal tool that targets merely on Olmarik infection. It's not a complete antivirus solution that is supposed to protect against millions of threats.

The ESET Olmarik standolne cleaner can be dowloaded from here.

 

That wld be a bad move.
