    Hi,

I just try out Acronis Trueimage 9.1 for Linux in command line mode. Full images work perfectly while incrementals end up with the following error

    trueimagecmd --partition:1-1 --filename:backup.tib --create --incremental
Failed to start the backup operation.

Is there any limitation in the trial version concerning this?

    Thanks for your help

    Hello mcfly,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Linux Server Disk Backup Software.

We are sorry for the delayed response.

Please be aware that there is a know issue that the full backup should be created before creating the incremental backup using console mode of Acronis True Image 9.1 Server for Linux. This issue was fixed and the fix will be included into the next build of Acronis True Image 9.1 Server for Linux. I'm sorry, but at the moment the exact time-frame for that is not set yet.

If this is not the case and the full backup with the name "backup.tib" already exists when you create the incremental backup, then please submit a request for technical support. Describe the step-by-step actions taken before the issue appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.

    Thank you.
