    HI guys,

A while ago a created some mp3 files encoded at a bitrate of 128kbps, which sound ok but the volume could be better. Does anyone know any programs that can increase the volume without having to recode them?

    Thanks

    Hi Dreamcatcher,

MP3 CDburner from acoustica (http://www.acoustica.com/mp3-cd-burner/ ) can do that before burning MP3 to a CD (wich is a very usefull option when recording of some song are low ;-) ... or you can use Mixcraft from the same company (http://www.acoustica.com/mixcraft/) with who you are gonna be able to do what you wanna do and then resaved the song on your system in the format you please.

    Best regards,

I like WavePad, it's a great program, just don't install anything else from the installer, it's a pain. Also, download the version on download.com. That version is more than just a 30day trial. The only difference is that after 30days you cant save in m4a and some other formats.
