Some forum members are very interested in the ten-forward based threads while others visitors are not, so I've altered the forum index to give people two views of the last 10 posts made on the forum.

By default, boths views are visible, however, people have the option of collapsing either section down so that only one shows each time they display the forum's main index page.

To open and close a vBulletin page section, use the small double arrows button on the right of that section's header. The [IMG] button displays on an open section and will closes (collapse) that section when pressed. The [IMG] button will open a collapsed section.

Here's how it looks with ten-forward threads listed and the other 10 last posts section closed.

Interesting idea LWM - but why not just list the last 10 Ten-Forward posts in the first group? This would avoid repeating thread titles between the two groups.

Well, I thought about that and figured that most people would probably choose one and close the other, rather than leaving both open all the time. Closing the one you don't care about saves space so when you hit 'end' or 'bottom of page', you'd see the one you wanted rather than having to scroll up to see both. It was basically a coin-toss.
