    If it does, I hope it's in an IT-savvy area and where the local (state) government is friendly to Open Source. Right now, I can think of Kerala. Bangalore may also give good results. What about a presence on IIT campuses?

    I don't know anything about Canonical's presence in India.

    When I taught there, LINUX was big among students.
