Wondering if screen savers and power down functions in power policy options affect the backup imaging process if the computer sits for too long during the imaging process? Will the imaging proesses stop the screen savers from activating or do you have to do that yourself?

I've never had my machine go to sleep while do a backup. Screen saver activiates some times and that's never been a problem. IF the PC is in standby (S3) when a task is scehduled to run, the ATI scheduler won't wake the PC up from stanby (S3).

So I use the Windows Task Scheduler to call up the script file to run a backup task. Other than that, there shouldn't be any problems.

    Good luck,
    sh
