IMON scans wisocks, resident part is AMON. Depending on the seting it monitors file opening, creating, attmept to run and other virus hazardeous operations..

Currently, IMON only scans POP3 traffic. The upcoming update of program components will bring support for so-desired scanning HTTP traffic as well (the HTTP scanner will take full advantage of all IMON features including advanced heuristics).

    Hi Izi,

The update should available in approx. 1 month or so. OK?

    Regards,
    Bandicoot.

Just an addendum to Bandicoot's post - he meant the beta version which we assume could be available for public testing within one month.

You're not going to make us hunt all over Eset's home site for the beta are you? :D (Like we had to at Christmas 2002 for the NOD32 version 2 beta). I thought someone here had posted a screen shot of the beta in Spanish. So, is it already available in some languages?

Am I correct in assuming that this beta will allow for usage just of the HTTP part of IMON? I am very interested in that but I don't want IMON scanning my email.

Mele20: I think that you can use IMON HTTP part and have IMON POP scanner disabled... Or add email client to IMON exceptions...
