Does anyone use IMAP for e-mail? How well does it work with NOD32?
I use IMAP as well as POP3 and IMON does not, as far as I can tell, scan IMAP incoming emails.
This is correct, I use to use IMAP, and Nod32 doesn't support it presently...
Thank you Howard.
Does AMON react to infected e-mails?
I am probably the wrong person to ask: I haven't received an infected email either via POP3 or IMAP this year, which is longer than I have been using NOD32. (All my mail is scanned before I receive it)
What IMAP server are you using?
I access my mail at work from home via IMAP4 I do not have any details about the server and doubt I would understand them if I had
No worries, thanks anyway....
Im Using Thunderbird as well two IMAP Servers with Secure Imap (Port 993). As mentioned above, is there any possibility to let NOD scan those email files (Imon -> POP3 oder HTTP) ?
this is actually one of the few downsides of nod for me. I have been using imap since I was able to do so (3-4 years now). I never use pop anymore.
I wish eset would add some imap capabilities to nod32
