    Hi,

We are trying to restore a backup made with Acronis. We are working with a RAID 5 array, before restore the backup we create the array, but then when we are using the acronis software we got the message: this image archive is corrupted. It happened after we insert the last CD, then the first CD and then the last one again and is verifying the image.... We could not find any information in the web that can help us about it. Could you give me an idea why is happening this, what I missing; is something additional that I have to take care of?

    Thank you.

    Hello Carolina,

Thank you for choosing Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

First of all, please make sure you use the latest build, which is available on our web site at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/support/updates/. To get access to updates you should register your software first at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/registration/. Please disable any download managers, internet download/connection boosters, etc. before the download.

Please let us know the full name of the product you use.

As I understood you have successfully created an image of your system and burned it to CDs. Then you created RAID5 array and booted the system using Acronis True Image bootable CD (please create a new bootable CD after update). Is that correct?

After that you started the "Restore Image" wizard, followed the instructions and received the image corrupted error. Could you please try to check this image using the built-in cheking tool?

    Thank you.
