I was just surfing the net a little bit, and I had my download manager up (DLExpert) and I got an Illegal Operation message, that DLExpert has perfomed an illegal operaiton, and will be shut down, I click "OK" it shuts down, get it again, and click "OK" and my PC restarts itself! Is this a common thing? Or do I have some sort of malware that did it? (I am scanning my PC right now)

    Comp01,

If you are using Win9x/ME then this sort of problem is pretty much a fact of life - unless you can reproduce the problem (i.e. it recurs under specific circumstances) then I would suggest that it simply be taken as a signal to reboot your system. Consider using Windows 9x/ME's Resource Meter to keep track of System/User/GDI space available in future - if these reach critically low levels (20% or so) you then need to close applications to avoid a system crash.
