If spyware, and malware has been deemed illegal why are so many notorious websites...

If spyware, and malware has been deemed illegal why are so many notorious websites that produce these thing still up? why havent they been taken down? FBI is so quick to take down illegal production of copyrighted material but not spyware and walware, Is spamming considered more harmful than distributing a virus?

By just deeming all these cyber threats as illegal is not going to solve the problem completely. And I think its an impossible task to shut down every single website that hosts malicious programs. The Internet is just too big. You shut down one, 1 sec later another pops up.

Spam, viruses, spyware, rootkits, trojans...... the list goes on. Whatever the threat may be, they are all equally dangerous. There is no such thing as spam is more dangerous than a virus. As long as its a piece of malicious code that can infect a computer, it should be considered as very dangerous no matter what it is.

Computers are worldwide. Ever wondered how many computers there are in this world? Having the FBI alone will not solve such a problem completely either, you need the full co-operation of all government agencies worldwide and the full co-operation of all businesses, companies and all computer users worldwide to fully tackle this perennial problem of cyber threats that has lasted for so many years.

Yeah right...its really hard to stops them. Its worldwide.

Even those illegal prostitutions in the web, they are very very hard to stops and find. They could transfer from one place to another...and most of them operates in some of the most unsuspected houses even in mansions.

The best thing we could possibly do now is to have a tested reliable protectors... software programs that can detects and remove these things in our pc's. And of course of being more aware that this things really exist and we must avoid them as much as possible by being careful to sites we visits and programs we downloads.
