    IE keeps restarting for me even though its not my web browser and if I try to close them my CPU locks-up many times. Here is my Hijack This Log any help would be appreciated.

    Then do a reboot and rescan and post a fresh log. While awaiting confirmation from Pieter, Tony or Unzy I would recommend that you do a VirusScan perhaps using the online one from Panda, located here...

    Also, I have been having trouble confirming that the IPs listed below are truly legitimate DNS servers. I suggest that you doublecheck that these are legit for your ISP.

    Check the items listed below in HijackThis, close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    We seem to have a stubborn one:

    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [msmc] C:\WINNT\System32\msccof.exe

    Download and install regprot form http://www.diamondcs.com.au/index.php?page=regprot

    When you are done approving the applications you already have (if msmc = msccof is among them, don't allow it), fix the entry above in HijackThis and reboot without allowing it to return.
