I loaded IE9 and note that it will not allow hardware acceleration. The result is that it is slower than FF and Opera.
Apparently, my graphics card will not allow it.
For reference, I have Windows 7 32 bit and a GeForce FX 5200 128mb card. The drivers are up to date.
I have the most current Directx 11, and according to dxdiag, no problems are found. Also, it shows DirectDraw, Direct3D and AGPTexture acceleration are all enabled.

So I am puzzled. It seems that, though my card is pretty basic, it should work with IE9's hardware acceleration. Am I missing something?
Which cards support IE9? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The FX5200 is way too old.

    Darn...

    Oh, well.

Do you know what the minimum requirements are for hardware acceleration?

DirectX 11 is supported by Windows 7, but your card only supports DX 9, so you effectively have DX 9. I think these new browsers require DX 10.1 or later.
