IE7 won't install AT ALL... any ideas ?

    I disable Comodo, avast, BoClean and I can't use the automatic updates to install it, it fails and if I use the download from the MS site, it tells me that it is not a valid win32 app.

    This has been going on for three weeks.

    Can you think of anything that could be causing this?

    How big is the download? Should be 14+ MB's.

    Are you using a Download manager/accelerator of any kind? If so, shut it off.

    I had the same problem and was able to install in safe mode with networking.
