The last program i have run was adaware, my internet explorer is not running at all on one of my computer sign in names, and when it does run it runs VERY slow and it comes up with "program not responding" alot of the time, here is my hijack this log:
PS if i delete or "fix checked" ALL of these on hijackthis is it possible that it may damage my computer and would you recommend deleting them all!?

Reboot into safe mode by following instructions here: http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2001052409420406
then as some of the files or folders you need to delete may be hidden do this:
Open Windows Explorer & Go to Tools > Folder Options. Click on the View tab and make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is checked. Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files" and untick "hide extensions for known file types" . Now click "Apply to all folders"
    Click "Apply" then "OK"

    Delete these files

    C:\WINDOWS\System32\EGCOMSERVICE_1042.dll

    and Delete these folders

    C:\PROGRAM FILES\2teamdead\
    C:\PROGRAM FILES\ANTIPL~1\<<<< THE FOLDER CONTAINING >>>>>>>>>>Bits defy.dll
    C:\Program Files\MyWay
    C:\Program Files\Altnet\

then go to C:\Documents and Settings\USER NAME\Local Settings\Temp and select everything in that folder and delete it

as XP will not let you delete files less than 24 hours old as it thinks it might need them please also do this
while in the temp folder, select view and select details.
then right click a blank part and select arrange icons by, and select show in groups and modified, that will give a list of all files in date order with today at the top of the page.
select all the files/folders except the today ones and delete them all.

and select EVERYTHING in C:\windows\temp except temporary internet files, cookies and history folders and delete all that as well

    1) Open Control Panel
    2) Click on Internet Options
    3) On the General Tab, in the middle of the screen, click on Delete Files
    4) You may also want to check the box "Delete all offline content"
    5) Click on OK and wait for the hourglass icon to stop after it deletes the temporary internet files
    6) You can now click on Delete Cookies and click OK to delete cookies that websites have placed on your hard drive

    then
    Reboot normally &

Download and unzip or install these programs/applications if you haven't already got them. If you have them, then make sure they are updated and configured as described

    Spybot - Search & Destroy from http://security.kolla.de
    AdAware 6 from http://www.lavasoft.de/support/download

    Run Sybot S&D

After installing, first press Online, press search for updates, then tick the updates it finds, then press download updates. Beside the download button is a little down pointed arrow, select one of the servers listed. If it doesn't work or you get an error message then try a different server

Next, close all Internet Explorer and OE windows, press 'Check for Problems', and have SpyBot remove all it finds that is marked in RED.

    then reboot &

    Run ADAWARE

Before you scan with AdAware, check for updates of the reference file by using the "webupdate".
the current ref file should read at least 01R323 20.06.2004 or a higher number/later date
    Then ........

Make sure the following settings are made and on -------"ON=GREEN"
From main window :Click "Start" then " Activate in-depth scan"

    then......

click "Use custom scanning options>Customize" and have these options on: "Scan within archives" ,"Scan active processes","Scan registry", "Deep scan registry" ,"Scan my IE Favorites for banned URL" and "Scan my host-files"

    then.........

go to settings(the gear on top of AdAware)>Tweak>Scanning engine and tick "Unload recognized processes during scanning" ...........then........"Cleaning engine" and "Let windows remove files in use at next reboot"

then...... click "proceed" to save your settings.

Now to scan it´s just to click the "Scan" button.

When scan is finished, mark everything for removal and get rid of it. (Right-click the window and choose"select all" from the drop down menu) then press next and then say yes to the prompt, do you want to remove all these entries.

    reboot again

then post a new hijackthis log to check what is left

Post a log for EACH of the user names as there are likely to be items to remove from each account

    C:\WINDOWS\System32\MSA64CHK.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\mtwirl.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\mtwirl32.dll

    and Delete these folders

    C:\Program Files\MyWay

then go to C:\Documents and Settings\Jackie\Local Settings\Temp and select everything in that folder and delete it

as XP will not let you delete files less than 24 hours old as it thinks it might need them please also do this
while in the temp folder, select view and select details.
then right click a blank part and select arrange icons by, and select show in groups and modified, that will give a list of all files in date order with today at the top of the page.
select all the files/folders except the today ones and delete them all.

and select EVERYTHING in C:\windows\temp except temporary internet files, cookies and history folders and delete all that as well

If you have them, then make sure they are updated and configured as described

download CWshredder from http://www.thespykiller.co.uk then Run it
Close all browser windows, click on the cwshredder.exe then click "FIX" (Not "Scan only") and let it do it's thing.

Reboot After running cwshredder and as soon as possible follow this advice:
Now as CWS Hijacks are normally installed via the byte verifier exploit in M$ JavaVM, just surfing a page with an infected applet can install it with no user participation. So once you’ve run the above, it is vital that you go here, click Scan for updates in the main frame, and download and install all CRITICAL updates recommended.

    Run ADAWARE

Before you scan with AdAware, check for updates of the reference file by using the "webupdate".
the current ref file should read at least 01R324 22.06.2004 or a higher number/later date

(Right-click the window and choose"select all" from the drop down menu) then press next and then say yes to the prompt, do you want to remove all these entries.

    reboot again

then post a new hijackthis log to check what is left

fix the hjt entries in jackies account and then boot into safe mode using either eminem or admin account dosn't matter which and delete the files if they exist

then you won't be able to empty jackies temp files from another account so boot into her account normally and delete as many of the temp files it will let you

then download CWshredder from http://www.thespykiller.co.uk then Run it
Close all browser windows, click on the cwshredder.exe then click "FIX" (Not "Scan only") and let it do it's thing.

Reboot After running cwshredder and as soon as possible follow this advice:
Now as CWS Hijacks are normally installed via the byte verifier exploit in M$ JavaVM, just surfing a page with an infected applet can install it with no user participation. So once you’ve run the above, it is vital that you go here, click Scan for updates in the main frame, and download and install all CRITICAL updates recommended.

run cwshredder under each account you have

And 2) EMINEM's desktop wallpaper is still hijacked, what can i doo_O? (my desktop wallpaper has been hijacked for a while now and no-one seems to know how to fix it, DO U??)
    THANK YOU

provided you hyave gone to windows update and taken all critical updates and service packs, then you can quite safely ignore the DSO exploit

I'm not sure what you mean by wallpaper is hijacked

can you describe this a bit more please
perhaps do a print screen, paste into paint & save as a jpg file and attach that pic to a post so we can see
    what image is there

Ok, i could have done that but there really is no point now because it is all white. What i mean by desktop wallpaper is imagine you have just started your computer up, and HAVE NOT opened any windows you will see shortcuts to things like my computer and recycle bin etc, behind this you have a picture of anything of your choice, you cannot miss it! and you can set this picture to anything you want by> right clicking a blank part of the screen, pressing properties and then pressing desktop, however when i right click on an empty part of my desktop and press "properties" it comes up with the same thing as it does if you were to right click on a file and press "properties" it says " Protocol: File Protocol, Type: HTML Document, Connection: Not Encrypted, Address URL: file://C:/WINDOWS/Web/desktop.html, Size: Not available, Created: Not available, Modified: Not available" the reason that my desktop wallpaper is now blank is because going on this information that came up when i pressed "properties" i thought ok, if i delete the "Address URL" that it brings up then maybe it will bring my normal desktop wallpaper or picture back so i deleted this file and it got rid of what it previously had as my desktop picture but never made it normal again it just made it plain white which it still is now, it used to say though as my wallpaper " WARNING you are in danger every website you visit is stored on your hard disk and deleting it the normal way will NOT work these files and photos are still available so protect yourself now" or something like this i cannot remember exactly what it said, and it had a link to a website which wanted you to download something that would apparently help your computer and remove the wallpaper that had hijacked you however i did not download this as i thought that something that needed to hijack me in order for me to download its software would not be safe, finally there is NOTHING that i can think to do, erm imagine you are on a website and you see a picture that you like to get this as your what i call "desktop wallpaper" what you would do would be right click on the picture and press "Set as background" close all windows or minimise all pages you have got open and THIS is what i mean by "desktop wallpaper" and you should see the picture of whatever you just selected HOWEVER my desktop wallpaper just stays white! ALSO if you go to: control panel, display, desktop" this is what i mean by "desktop wallpaper" (this might be the easiest way for you to find out what i am talking about! Now i can bring this up and i can select whatever "background" i want however NOTHING happens it just stays white as my background, I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND! sorry if i have gone on too much or if i have been confusing for you in parts, please reply,
    Barry

HI, i have thought of what the problem MIGHT be but i still need your advice please. The problam COULD be that when you told me that i got carried away with the deleting when you instructed me to delete those files before AND i know for certain that i deleted at least one "hidden file" called "desktop. ini" do you have any advice on what to do? Please reply even if it is just to say you do not know how you can help, but please do not leave me hanging (i do not mean to be rude it has just happened before!) Thankyou,
    Barry

give me time to look into this one, it's not something I've come across before & need to do a bit of research and playing around and see if I can recreate the problem & then find out how to fix it

    Hi,
It has been a while! Have you managed to find anything out about my desktop background/wallpaper being hijacked yet? (it is still all white and will not let me put a picture there) Or have did u just totally forget about it?

    Whichever one please reply!
    Thankyou,
    barry
