    Hi

I've been advised to transfer my original question to this site:

I have recently installed SpywareBlaster in addition to AdAware, PestPatrol and ZA (belt and braces philosophy) and all seem to work happily together. The three last ones tell me either by sound or visually that they have dealt with an intruder What does SpywareBlaster do?Can you help please?

SpywareBlaster is for prevention only while the other programs you mentioned are used more for detection. So long as it prevents any spyware getting through there's no need to alert you and if anything did get through hopefully your other software would let you know about it.

Further thoughts. This programme was recommended to me by someone whose advice I trust absolutely. The amount of messages to this forum prove that it works.
However, just for my own information, how will I know if SpywareBlaster does something and doesn't just sit there looking impressive on my HD?

    Hi RonaldCS,

There is only one way really to measure the effect it has for you.
Compare the results of the scans of AdAware you did before and after installing SpywareBlaster. :D

    Regards,

    Pieter
