I have 3 installs of XP SP2 on 1 HDD. The partitions are primary. OSS is installed in a hidden partition on the HDD.

On Saturday 8/6 and Sunday 8/7 I was able to boot to any of the 3 partitions, now today, 8/8, I am unable to boot partition 3.

What happens is 1) select partition 3 in OSS. 2) XP boot window comes up with the moving geen bar. 3) It stays on that splash screen - the system is frozen, yes I have left it there for 15 minutes, and I need to hit the reset button. At that point the system reboots, I select partition 3 again and am given the "Failed to boot" choices window, no matter what I choose (safe, last known good, normal) it will not proceed to the "choose user" window. Partitions 1 & 2 boot fine.

I have run OSS install/repair at boot, chkdsk f: /r. The problem remains. How can I get OSS to work properly?
