I cant install eset smart security

    After unistall nod32, i reboot the system and try to install eset smart security, a error installation is show:

    "this not a update from nod32 products, you must unistall first nod32 product"

    what can i do to solve this problem?

    Hello jango,

    After uninstalling NOD32 and restarting, delete the Eset folder in program files and try the install again.

    I'm not sure what the problem could be jango. Perhaps someone will have a better idea.

    You might want to give some of your system info in case that would be helpful.

    Hi
    I had the same problem despite cleaning up the registry etc.

    What worked for me was to re-install Nod32 2.7 and then uninstall it from the Start/Programs/Eset/Uninstall rather than Add/Remove programs in Control Panel.

    Eset Smart Security installed without a problem after doing it this way.

    Install & Uninstall version 2.7 again.

    That's how i solved the problem.
