Hyperkey for macOS goes freeware

    Yes, I replaced Karabiner Elements (which I only used to create a Hyperkey) by Hyperkey when I read this news, earlier this week.

    What exactly can you do with an app like Hyperkey?

    Use a key (I use Caps Locks) as the HyperKey (simulating all four modifier keys pressed at once: ⌃⌥⌘⇧).

    I use HyperKey + almost any letter in the alphabet to trigger specific Keyboard Maestro macros.

    I have to admit, I haven't got a clue what you mean. I was never really big on keyboard shortcuts, I rather use my mouse. :p
