I have a problem with NOD32 that keeps happening, repeatedly. I go into HTTP compatibility setup and configure the browsers/programs I want to use Higher efficiency mode. Yet before long, the settings are completely lost, and all of them have reverted back to the default Higher compatibility setting.

I've verified that the settings do remain across reboots, at least some of the time. I have no idea what triggers them being lost, but I can see that the applicable settings are stored in the active_ua_list value under HKLM\SOFTWARE\Eset\Nod\CurrentVersion\Modules\Imon\Settings\Config000\Settings. This value is not being deleted. Rather, it's data is being cleared--but not by me.

Has anyone else seen this problem?

Can't say I have ever run into this problem. Have you contacted Eset for support?

No, and I won't, because I've been around long enough to know that this is the kind of issue that won't be resolved. "No one else has reported it, can't reproduce it..."

    Thanks for the replies.

I've seen it plenty of times... always assumed it was after a component update for IMON. Never worried about it myself, just went ahead and re-higher efficiency-ed everything. I could always tell when it had happened - no more NOD32 progress indicator showing.
    Cheers :)

I've also got passwords set on most of my workstations - I'll take more notice next time and let you know... :)

Hmm I found out that if I set many of the programs to Higher efficiency mode, it will reach a limit and then it doesn't save anymore. How do I overcome this problem?
