What is this? It shows up at various times, and I had to shut the power off today, Is it helpful or can I shut it off or schedule it? Thanks, Jerry
It can be helpful if you're having an issue with an HP printer, e.g.-jams, poor printing, etc. You can turn it off if you're not having any problems, though I've never encountered it turning on by itself. I've always had to download and run it after installing it. I've also found that it doesn't always diagnose an issue properly, I needed to uninstall/reinstall printers a couple of times, when the diagnostic didn't do its thing. It's also not something you would schedule, it's an as needed utility.
