    Hey,

i created a (now) bootable USBStick with TrueImage Workstation 9.1 ( + Universal Restore ). It works, but all files are located in root, I create a new folder called ACRONIS (uppercase) and move all files except bootwiz.sys bootwiz.cfg bootmenue.exe and bootmenue.xml.

After that i modify the the bootwiz.cfg as follows:
    [C1]
    RUN ACRONIS/SPL1.EXE
    RUN ACRONIS/MOUSE.COM
    VGA VESA
    MBRCRCS ON
    INITRD ACRONIS/dat2.dat /S
    KERNEL ACRONIS/dat3.dat quiet
    [C2]
    RUN ACRONIS/SPL3.EXE
    RUN ACRONIS/MOUSE.COM
    RUN ACRONIS/run4.run
    RESTART
    [C3]
    RUN ACRONIS/SPL4.EXE
    RUN ACRONIS/MOUSE.COM
    RUN ACRONIS/run5.run
    RESTART
    [C4]
    RUN ACRONIS/SPL5.EXE
    RUN ACRONIS/MOUSE.COM
    VGA VESA
    MBRCRCS ON
    INITRD ACRONIS/dat6.dat /S
    KERNEL ACRONIS/dat7.dat quiet
    [C5]
    RUN ACRONIS/SPL7.EXE
    RUN ACRONIS/MOUSE.COM
    VGA VESA
    MBRCRCS ON
    INITRD ACRONIS/dat8.dat /S
    KERNEL ACRONIS/dat9.dat quiet
    [C6]
    RUN ACRONIS/SPL9.EXE
    RUN ACRONIS/MOUSE.COM
    VGA VESA
    MBRCRCS ON
    INITRD ACRONIS/dat10.dat /S
    KERNEL ACRONIS/dat11.dat quiet
    [continue]
    SYSBOOT /MBR
    [BOOTMGR]
    QUIET ON
    BOOTMENU 389

I tride all variants of /ACRONIS/ and ACRONIS/ and \ACRONIS\ ... but i always get "Missing Operating system" or something like that.

    Isn't possible ?

I don't think you can alter the bootwiz.cfg. Or to put it another way, physically you can, but I don't think OSS can then work with it.

    Hello Lobiwan,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Workstation Disk Backup Software.

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

As Bodgy has mentioned, it is not recommended to edit any files on Acronis Bootable Media. We can not guarantee that you will have working Acronis Bootable Media after editing.

We are always at your service should you have any further questions.

    Thank you.
