    Dear Support staff,

I bought TI Home V11 from newegg.com and sent a mail-in rebate to CPG (Continental Promotions Group), rebatestatus.com.
As you may already know, CPG filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection a week ago.
I'm wondering how you're going to proceed outstanding rebates.
Found many companies such as TRENDnet, PriceGrabber, etc already sent follow-up email with instruction to their customers.
I've contacted Customer Support via email but never heard anything yet.
Would you please let us know how you're going to handle?

    Thanks in advance,

Hi ... Just curious but shouldn't you be asking newegg.com this question ? I mean weren't they the one giving this rebate ?

I bought it from newegg.com which is one of official Acronis resellers.

Here is what I've got from newegg.com:

    Dear Customer,

    Thank you for contacting Newegg.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Please kindly note all rebates were transferred from CPG back to the manufacturers and will be processed. Due to the bankruptcy, there is no information of the rebate status on the website of rebatestatus.com. However, due to these issues there will be a delay. Unfortunately at this time we have not confirmed how long this delay may be. Please allow more time to process it. The rebate issues will be taken care of to make sure that all rebates will be honored.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please visit our FAQs page. If you still need assistance, please feel free to email me directly and I will be happy to assist you.

    Thank you,
    newegg

Just got a reply from customer service almost after 2.5 months.
    Nice gentleman escalated my case.

I love Acronis software, it's way better than Norton I used to have.
Thanks for great product and support!

wow, finally rebatestatus.com updated as following:

Your rebate check was mailed on 20-Feb-2009. Please allow at least 15 days for delivery.

Hope this rebate check won't be bounced.
    Thanks for your help!
