Using firefox 0.9 version. Failed 3 tests. 21,22,25.

Now using "internet Explorer" browser. Guard -IE is the popup blocker for ie. "Internet Explorer" with guard-ie as popup blocker fails tests.11,12,14,15,16,17,21,22,26,27

Opera version 7.20, outdated version, I almost forgot it was on my computer :) Opera fails tests 12,17,21,22

    Now for overall score:

Firefox 0.9 version: Fails 3 tests

Opera 7.20 version: Fails 4 tests

Internet Explorer with guard-ie as popup blocker fails 10 tests

I failed a couple using FF 1.0. I'd previously used the panicware PU Stopper that Spanner mentions above....and it is very good! I'd stopped using it because I was just never getting any popups with FF? Maybe it's just that I don't go near too many 'dodgy' sites? I might have to rethink?

I failed on 13 and 21, using FF 1.0 and your filters, what needs to be altered?

    Cheers :D

    Hi BS,

To block #21 (the bookmark popup) make sure you select/enable Onload Unloader which is part of the default Proxomitron pack.

    HTH,

    Steve

BTW - I pass them all too! :D

Sorry BS, I forgot to include this with my above post.

You can Block 13 by killing flash ... either thru Proxomitron or using other methods. ;)

    HTH, ;)

Well, it seems this was a worth-while post afterall.

I have used it to test different blockers and settled on PanicWare's Pop-Up Stopper Pro.

I'm glad everyone is getting some good use of the site :)

Spanner: It's a valid DIV tag using the ABSOLUTE value. =S Block: Floating Ads {8.d} [test] [jd] is the filter that takes care of it :D

Blackspear: The pack I'm using is JD5000's. :D

Here are the Proxomitron filters that kill all 27 tests (I've used the Log feature of Proxomitron to compile this list):

Not well according to those tests. o_O

    Failed 3 of them.

I use Opera and haven't had a bad popup in ages.

    Hmm...
