How to uninstall RAS Async Adapter in device manager?

    Hello wilders

    I had another thread about ras async adapter in the other securities section but no one is replying. So basically under network adapters in device manager there is an adapter called RAS Async Adapter (show hidden devices has to be enabled to see it) and I want to uninstall it but it doesn't do anything when I click uninstall.

    The reason I want to uninstall it is because in my previous vista installation, I never had RAS Async Adapter. How do I go about uninstalling this if it can't be removed through device manager?
