    Hello

I have installed Avira Premium Trial and I cant seem to find its Uninstall optoin. I looked in the ADd/Remove program, but the program is not even listed there.

I tried looking for it in the Revo UNinstaller, it was missing. I tried looking in the Start Menu , but it only shows "Start Antivir"

How can i uninstall this progra m?

It's listed there in uninstall programs in Control Panel in Win 7 Home Premium, at least for me. What OS are you using?

    Im using Windows XP SP3

I did uninstall it by going to its installation directory and running "setup.exe" file.

I have reinstalled my NOD32 4.2. So far everythings running fine.

Ibn Saeed, you should run the Avira registry cleaner suggested by Ezposito.

It should be in Add/Remove and if it's not there is the possibility that your system is infected or some system corruption going on, either way you should get out some serious apps and go throw a serious check to make sure you're all clean and good to go...

    CCLeaner
    SuperAntiSpyware
    Malwarebytes
Avira Free (At least scan with it)
Dr. Web CureIT (Just to scan with)
    Spyware Terminator
    Spybot Search & Destroy
Hijack This ( If you know how to use it)

JV16 Power Tools ( To clean the registry, this is where people ~ Snipped as per TOS ~ that apps like these are BS, but the truth is, you could now some bad keys in the registry that needs a cleaning to help solve this problem)

Hey when something isn't right, it's always best to whip out the weapons and go to town and make sure, then again you could simply do a backup and reformat and reinstall... ;)

The problem was only with Avira not being listed.

I installed NOD32 and ran a full in depth scan and it cleaned out a lot of things.

I followed your advice and ran Malwarebytes AM quick scan and here is what it found:

    Registry Keys Infected: 50
    Folders Infected: 1
    Files Infected: 29

Now im running a Full scan, and then ill run SuperAntispyware.

I think its time for a complete thorough checking.
