    Thanks for any help.
I run ESET SS in interactive mode.
I have to switch back and forth from interactive to automatic
mode to allow updates to Ccleaner and Malwarebytes. There
are others also but these will do for an example.
I have a lot of trouble creating rules as I get a window saying
the rule is to general, so I do NOT create any rules.
How do I solve this problemo_O

If you have already created certain rules, you will need to switch to Automatic mode with exceptions in order for the rules to take effect. In automatic mode (default), any rules you create will be ignored.

    Thanks for responding.
I have created NO rules as I get a message from ESET
saying the rule is to general. I stop there.
I guess I need a sample of how to create a rule allowing Ccleaner to to update.
