How to retain settings please?

    I need to upgrade from 4 to 5.

    Eset recommend a complete uninstall first.
    How do I retain all my firewall settings that have been extended and refined over the last two years?

    Also I need to install 5 on a new laptop.
    Any way to "copy" or Export/Import those same settings as a good starting point for the laptop?

    You can Export/Import settings and the GUI has menu for you to do so (may need be set to advanced mode)!

    I would start fresh if a new PC/Lappy as it will have different NIC etc!
