my files were saved in an ext4 partition (drive) but I accidentally installed ubuntu in that partition (drive)

I reset the PC button as fast as I can before ubuntu installs but it was only a split second and the partition got corrupted and my files were gone.

I use GPARTED to rebuild the corrupted partition. my files are gone and I see LOST+FOUND folder again.

can I still recover my files? :(

I'm currently using UBUNTU and I don't know what program to use so I can recover my files @__@

Depends what got done before you rebooted.
Recovering files is a very tricky deal and might not work.

However, if you used gparted to create a new partition, then you may as well have completely deleted them forever.
