    Hello:
    Problems making a rescue disk.
ESET NOD32 requires Win AIK, provides download link
But unable to open .iso file. Appears to be a zip type file.

Any information regarding opening .iso file would be appreciated.
Eset should included download/directions for unziping.
I'm moderately versed and self trained.

    appreciate the help,

    Mischief...

    Hey Mischiefnyou

You can use the Iso Reader to open the WAIK file. After opening the file, go to Startcd.exe to install WAIK. After installation restart your system.

    Hope it helps, regards Janus

    Hello,

As Janus noted, an .ISO file is an image or "container" file of a CD or DVD disc.

There are lots of free and commercial tools to take .ISOs and burn them to a blank CD-R or DVD±R disc, or virtually mount the .ISO file so that it shows up as a new drive letter in Windows Explorer.

Burning CDs and DVDs has been a part of Windows for a while (added to Windows XP, and included in Vista, 7 and  and mounting them was added in Windows 8. Microsoft's released a Virtual CD-ROM Control Panel to bring this functionality from Windows 8 back to older versions of Windows. It works the same as the aforementioned ISO Reader program, so there's no need to download it unless you specifically want to use Microsoft's solution.

    Regards,
