The thread Registry Monitor comparison contains collected infos of common interest. Several posters suggested the thread to be sticky including a DCS moderator. I already sent a private message to Paul Wilders asking to make it sticky (No answer). Still it is not sticky. Are there some special criterias or procedure to be followed to make a thread sticky?

I'll take a look at it.

One of the things we've been wanting to do is reduce the number of overall sticky threads and build a primary sticky for each forum with a list of the best of the best threads contained in that sub-forum. The Other Firewalls forum has the first such combo sticky.

We are going to make a combined sticky thread in that forum section which points to the best and most informative threads in that sub-forum. Privacy Software covers a lot of interesting topics. But until that is ready, the thread mentioned above has been stuck (or is that sticked, stickyed, stickied... whatever ;) )

May I suggest that the information in that thread be used to create a section on Registry Monitors? (like Wilders' current pages on firewalls or anti-viruses). It does provide a good comparative tool as well as highlighting other methods of attack by malware.
