I want to make a donation to a political candidate. How can I insure a site that accepts donations is not a scam?
    Thanks,
    Jerry

None of the normal candidate not entire donations using some strange and public website. That says already all.

WOT gives this site a red warning and the user comments are varied and interesting.

Checked the URL via VirusTotal prior to posting, and just re-scanned again: all clear. However, to err on the side of caution, I de-linked the URL.

Sorry, off topic, but how do you de-link an URL? In some of my posts I've tried to do it using "unlink" from the tabs available for formatting replies, but it doesn't work...

Osaban, simple, wrap the entire URL in [plain]URL[/plain] tags, and it converts the link into text, thus disabling the llink. Use the Test Forum to practice.

There are other BB Codes. that perhaps you might like to use in the future.

    Thanks, All,
Hi JR, have not heard from you lately.
I had forgotten about WOT. Got it done.

    Jerry
