    Hi all,

Windows 7 is out. Ubuntu 9.10 is coming next week. Do you know what this means? It's time for a dual boot tutorial.

To this end, I have compiled a long, extensive, step-by-step tutorial to installing and configuring Windows 7 and Ubuntu in a side-by-side (dual-boot) configuration, including troubleshooting of boot problems. I believe this guide is a must for any dual-boot practitioner.

Everything is there, step by step, with 50 images showing the procedure in tiniest detail. I hope you will like it.

I placed it in the Unix section, but if you think it fits better in Software & Services, then please move it.

    Comments and suggestions are welcome.

    Regards,
    Mrk

    Hello Mrk,

I see the repair install of Windows 7 does not overwrite Grub bootloader. I didn't
know that. Something new to learn ad infinitum.
    Nice tutorial. :thumb:

    Regards.

Windows is becoming more of a Linux, Linux is becoming more of a Windows, it's a merging. Indeed, your GRUB stays intact, finally ...
