How to install tor browser on ubuntu?

    hi

    i am going on holiday to spain and the hotel has free wireless internet but its totally unsecure. i am using ubuntu and want to install tor browser for some privicy.. could anyone give me a step by step guide to installing and use it?

    i am a ubuntu noob so please an idiots guide would be great...

    In the Gnome menu at top click 'Applications' - 'Ubuntu Software Center';

    In the search Window type Tor and see what it shows you, hopefully something called 'Tor Browser Bundle' the bundle will make it easier to use. Hopefully Canocial has put in the browser bundle...

    Use The Amnesic Incognito Live System aka TAILS on either a USB or Live CD.

    It incorpoates Tor. It is best to also use a mac address changer after booting up. You can find one in the ubuntu repositories (macchanger and macchanger-gtk). Ubuntu is a derivative of Debian, and TAILS 0.7.2 (latest) is based (I think on Lenny).
