How To Fix Bug: 121 NOD32 for Windows NT/ 2000/XP - standard component

    Hi all, i love NOD32 2 its pulled me out of the sh*t a couple of times, however recently when the new program kernal update cam out, nod 32 v2 wouldnt update. It only updated the signature. teh error that came up when updating was "121 NOD32 for Windows NT/2000/XP - standard component"

    Consiquenlty i uninstalled NOD32 v2 and reinstalled, after is set up all teh options in set up, it be gone to install, 2 seconds into installing, it cam up with the same error message "121 NOD32 for Windows NT/2000/XP - standard component". I really dont want to have to format my computer and reinstall all my stuff. NOD team can you help me out here! :(

    Hello,

    this error is caused by cabview.dll registered to the system improperly. We're trying to figure out the reason for it, unfortunately we haven't been able to duplicate the problem yet. I wonder if you could confirm that you downloaded NOD32 after July 21 (has anyone else downloaded it after that date and having the same problem?)

    As an interim solution you can try registering cabview.dll to the system as follows:
    1. go to Start, Run
    2. enter: regsvr32.exe cabview.dll
    3. install NOD32

    Thank you sooo much. I appreciate you replying, i was really in deep water. It works now, and in answer to your question i had first installed the first version of nod32 v2 (not beta , final) and when i got the kernal update error. I downaldoed your latest version 23nd of July, it still cam up with the same error whe i tryed to installe.

    Anyways, nod 32 v2 works a charm keep up the good work :). and lets hope this minnor bug is fixed in the near future :)
