Which programs would you guys recommend for a security setup comparison ?

    I want to try:

    CIS + Mbam Pro
    vs
    CIS + Mbam pro + Avast (Behaviour,Network,Script,Web)

I guess I would also try to archiving/extracting/moving/copying/etc.. but some overall benchmarktest would be nice.

    thanks

Anything would be good, on a side note though, CIS + MBAM + Avast! is a bit of overkill if you have 3 On Access scanners on.

I would say something like, CIS FW (No scanner) + MBAM On Demand + Avast On Access ;)

I have CIS (AV is "statefull", FW, D+), MBAM Pro (real time protection + web protection) and thought about Avast Behaviour Shield, Script Shield, Network Shield, Web shield.

I don't really think you need Avast modules if you got D+ :D
D+ in paranoid mode is more than enough :)

Paranoid mode.. so u create rules for safe applications? Because on paranoid mode I get one popup every 0,1 seconds :p

Well.. the avast web shield is very nice.. and the bevahiour blocker is just a nice addition to some HIPS. The Script & Network shield are nice as well :>

it's a new twist on an old game called "Whack-A-Mole".

basically, you click on the Allow/Deny buttons until your computer either becomes riddled with malware or becomes unresponsive because you totally FUBAR'ed the system.

you can upload your best scores to the game server. the score gets saved along with the BSOD minidump............

    :D

    HAHAHAAH good one :D :D

To be honest, Paranoid is not necessarily but i DO recommend getting rid of the whitelist and with D+ you don't need Avast! modules.
