I have the paid version of Prevx with SO turned all the way down in settings (off). But I would like for it to be disabled altogether and have the Prevx SO tab not appear anymore in my browser. I am using Chrome, latest public release and sometime the SO tab appears and sometimes it doesn't. If nothing else, I would like to get rid of the tab. Can that be done if SO being totally disabled cannot be done?

Also, I noticed that if I enable protection for a specific web site with several tabs of my browser open, then immediately disable protection for that site (same tabs open) I am unable to open any pages in any new tabs or another instance of my browser. I have to close out the original browser and restart it to be able to open any new web pages.

I would just rather have SO completely disabled if possible.

You can enable/disable SO by going to Settings>Prevx SafeOnline, and click on the 'ON/OFF' button (see image).

I am too experiencing problems with Chrome, but I know the Prevx crew are working hard to solve the problems. Wait for the next release. :)

You can also uninstall, and re-install without SafeOnline if you want.

I just turned off for now. After another release or two I'll give SO another shot.

A lot of my issues with Chrome were just resolved! They will be released very shortly in the next beta (and probaly soon thereafter in a stable release)

    Hey Page42,
Could you post how to not install SO again? I cant seem to find the post where Joe gives the instructions on how to do so.
    Thanks.

Let us know if it worked. If you still need help, there is a little bit more to it if you aren't used to DOS commands or if you save the installer in a different location. :)
