    Dear Wilders,

I know this issue has been discussed already however it is all to technical and uncomprehendable for me.

How do you detect the presence of a MBR rootkit? What software do you use and what sort of entries do you look for?

    Thanks.

It was posted that Gmer, PrevX and Dr Web find this.

    What is the Zeroday Software?

Thanks. So Prevx CSI will detect these.

ZeroDay Software was created to increase the level of security offered by todays security software by highlighting their flaws and deficiencies through the creation of new leaktests and security tools. By creating such software, we can help security software companies detect and prevent potential zeroday threats before they occur.

Our most recent leaktest is System Shutdown Simulator (SSS). Matousec has created new leaktests based on SSS in their Security Software Testing Suite.
