    Hello,

We are trying to create a policy rule for servers. We have a server policy created, however when the server is added to the console, it doesnt automatically get the server policy, it gets the default policy.

What is the best way to get this assigned automatically? We tried using the Product Name in Policy Rule, but doesnt seem to pick it up.

    Please advise.

    Cheers.

In the Policy manager, theres a tab called policy rules

Here you can define what will happen to new computers

Your best bet would be to create a Parametric Group that targets the Server editions of the operating systems and then assign a policy to automatically assign to that group.
