This be a tutorial showing how to create animated GIF images using open-source tools like GIMP, ImageMagick convert, and ffmpeg, including RGB vs Indexed mode, dithering, framerate, delay and looping, file size and quality comparison, optional WebP conversion, and some other tips and tricks.
