How to Build Anonymity Into the Internet.

Given the Patriot Act, the question still remains - how much do/could/should you trust your ISP? The other question is how trustworthy actually is your ISP?

It's a nice thought, but it is naive to think the organizations that want signals intelligence would suddenly not apply pressure if you asked them nicely. Spying and anti-anonymity are natural and well funded desires of all governments, and will not allow themselves to be thwarted by organizations they have governance over. It is up to individuals to engage in anonymity with cooperating entities.
