    Hello there,

Is there some way to keep my Android anonymous? Like Skype chat and browser? Do I need to use a VPN? Is it enough?

Well, there may be a money trail to the device's IMEI, which can't legally be changed.

Depending on your needs, it's hard enough to stay anonymous on a specialised Live CD distro on a laptop paid for with cash.

Why would you start from a (presumed) Android smartphone which isn't controllable unless you've rooted it, plus you have all the delights of cellphone tracking?

I just need something to keep me invisible to my ISP.

  5. Then you need a VPN. Many VPN providers make Android apps for their service. Just find one that is right for you.
