How stop trojan dialers?

    Can anyone tell me how i can best stop/prevent trojan dialers? I'm still on dialup. Free programs would be good, but pay are ok too, if they work good. I noticed MS antispyware has this feature, not sure how good it works, but anyway i have Windows me, so I can't use it. Any other good free programs to stop dialers for Windows me? Thanks in advance for any help.
