how Send Fax from my comp?

hi guys, does any one knows any software that allow me to send and receive fax from my comp Whit out modem, i have cable HSpeed so i will need a software that i can use Whit out modem

Fee based services are the only way without a modem - the only two I have used in the long past are jFax (now jConnect at j2.com) and eFax (efax.com). I use a modem......

 

There is a e-mail fax service (just found on search), this does have a free service, but limited to 20 free /month.

A bit OT, but just a reflection: we still use Fax! and blow up gasoline to move pistons to move cars!
In both cases we have alternatives, but we're stuck by our limited rationality.
Are we dumb or costs just keep us back? Is it really costs or we're afraid of taking risks, and move forward?

 

Just a thought:
IF you've room on your box, just install a fax modem (small money).
Then just plug in your analog ph line when sending or anticipating fax receive.

 

I don't know if it's different with XP, but my 98 box came with Fax software on the CD. Even with DSL, I still use my old US Robotics USB Faxmodem to send faxes with a standard phone line. They're dirt cheap. Works as well as the internal modem used to. Got room for one more USB cable?
