I've started using FakeSpot and ReviewMeta to check for fake reviews on Amazon. If you paste the URL of an Amazon listing, they filter out possible fake reviews and give an adjusted product rating.
ReviewMeta seems to be better at handling URLs. An Amazon url that I tried only worked with ReviewMeta. FakeSpot reported URL is invalid or unsupported (https://www.amazon.de/dp/B01MFEH9EL)

Seriously, fake reviews are also starting to become a problem on IMDB, it's so annoying. Movies that are absolutely crap are getting dumb 10 out of 10 reviews, anyone can see that they are fake, but they probably do it because a lot of people only look at the rating.
I long suspected this after knowing full well reviews that ran high were in reality nowhere near close to reality which makes your experience a total waste of time to even bother with. Couldn't agree more.
