To check available Policies: Code: about:policies Please,if possible, list the Policies used. Thank you. _______________________________________________________ Firefox. I set this policy:
It's been almost 1 month and I haven't received this pop-up anymore: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/thr...version-releases.361562/page-217#post-3202989
Ah, very good. Thanks for reporting. I suppose the policy that you set, helped. I haven't set that policy. I have seen the message "Firefox is not your default browser" one or two more times, with the 129.0 and/or 129.0.1 update, even though Firefox is my only browser, and it is set as default in Kubuntu settings as well.
@Stupendous Man Probably. You could also set the corresponding policy: Code: { "policies": { "DontCheckDefaultBrowser": true } } And check whether with the next version upgrade,it works.
Thanks. I've chosen not to set a policy, as to me the "Firefox is not your default browser" message is only a minor annoyance, and closing and opening the browser resolves the problem. If I get more annoyed by the issue, it is good to know a policy can be set.
Look for the Mozilla Firefox folder. Open the folder create a new folder “distribuition”. Then use notepad, copy my code above and save the policies.json file in the folder written above. It is easy. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/customizing-firefox-using-policiesjson
Thanks again, Sampei Nihira. But for now, I choose not to set a policy. As I said, to me the "Firefox is not your default browser" message is only a minor annoyance, and closing and opening the browser resolves the problem.
