I am as anxious as anyone to see the security suite. But I will probably wait 6 months or so once it is released to get it. I want to have the benefit of others experiences. I want to give Blackspear time to get his recommended settings together, etc.

Logical plan? Or would you rather upgrade right away, figure it out yourself, and always have the most up to date protection?

if a beta emerges then i will probably install that on my pc and tinker with it, but i'll leave the current version on my laptop as it's more critical that that doesnt crash/slow down...as the girlfriend uses that too and she isnt very tolerant when things dont just work :)

If it is BETA , I'll wait .

If it is non-BETA , I will install it on all computers as soon as it is released or I may get the Suite ... ;)

And about Blackspear's instructions : They are great . However , ESET will definitely create an install/use guide if someone has problems installing or configuring it . The tech support is always up for any requests :D

I can only speak for myself. But I like seeing how the program operates on everyone's machines, seeing what problems people are having, what they like and don't like. Basically, having a chance for the company to see and address any issues that may not have come out in BETA.

On top of that, I think my current level of protection is excellent. So I don't feel like I am at any greater risk by waiting and will benefit from everyone elses experiences.

I will stay away from it and allow the other brave souls here find the bugs. Maybe when the product reaches the Release Candidate stage I will try it but not on my main computers in the office.

I'll probably make a back up image and install it asap; if it works in 9x, that is.

I sure hope it supports 9x...does anyone know?

If it is a final version, I willl get it straight away. I leave Betas to the more daring among us like RejZor who I am sure would share his insights with us timid ones ;)

It's on my list, but that said it's not the only one. I have to renew or buy another this summer for one machine.
Where did I read the suite will be available in september with firewall........;)

I'm not rushing into it as yet, to my knowledge it could be slightly buggy but thats just might thought. I will wait between 3 and 6 months before I finally get it.

I'm not worried about betas either - as soon as it's available I'll get it!
